KingmanLewis Kingman came through the area in 1880 while surveying a right-of-way for the Atlantic and Pacific Railroad between Albuquerque, New Mexico and Needle, California. The railroad camp that later took his name grew into a major mining, ranching, and transportation center for northwestern Arizona. |
