Cambria

This artsy coastal town of Cambria now bears the Roman name for the ancient Wales but was previously called Rosaville, San Simeon, and Slabtown. Originally developed in 1866, the town became a center for shipping, lumbering, whaling, and mining. Today specialty shops, art galleries, and restaurants line Main Street.
