A Little History...
The information contained in this site was accumulated from many sources during my
years as a tour guide, including numerous guide books and brochures.
Good sources for researching your own travel information include Moon Travel Handbooks,
the old WPA travel series books, and literature published by the individual states' own
departments of tourism. AAA tour books also can provide alot of information ,
although their focus is more on restaurants and hotels than history and points of
interest.
