Oklahoma City’s Adventure District, located at the crossroads of I-35 and I-44, is home to some of the most popular tourist attractions in the state. There’s also CurioCity, a 21,000-square-foot space featuring eight “neighborhoods” to help kids explore basic science and hone their creative minds.

The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum is the area’s premier destination for all things related to the American cowboy and the Western tradition. More than 28,000 artworks and artifacts compose the museum's extensive collection, with permanent exhibits including the American Cowboy Gallery, the Native American Gallery, the Museum of the Frontier West, the Fine Firearms Gallery and more.

But for a more fast-paced experience, head over to Remington Park for racing action that never ends. The quarter horses hit the track every spring, and heart-pounding live thoroughbred racing begins in August. It’s the perfect spot to bring a group, book a suite and bet on the races. But that’s just the half of it; right inside is Remington’s casino, where the party goes on and on with a jam-packed schedule of live music, giveaways, hot seat drawings, tournaments and more.
