Genealogy Day

at Chickasaw Cultural Center

Holisso: The Center for Study of Chickasaw History and Culture is home to genealogy records, photo archives and historic documents that, upon appointment, guests can utilize while exploring their Chickasaw and Southeastern ancestry. On any given day, the Research Center on the Chickasaw Cultural Center’s campus offers oral history workshops, digitization events, lectures, conferences and more.

March 14, guests are invited to participate in a special celebration filled with family fun and history-themed activities like a Chickasaw language family tree, create-your-own family file and photo archiving. The event is free and open to the public. Plus, stick around for the Three Sisters Celebration (March 14-22) and National Learn About Butterflies Day (March 14).
