Cellist Christine Lampra and guest conductor Andreas Delfs bring to life Debussy’s Prelude to Afternoon of a Faun, Tchaikovsky’s Variations on a Rococo Theme, Op. 33 and Andate Cantabile and Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 5 in D Minor, Op. 47.

With Maestro Joel Levine stepping down next year, the Oklahoma City Philharmonic is showcasing six possible candidates this season, one of whom is German native Andreas Delfs, for the position of new Music Director. Delfs is currently the Conductor Laureate of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and has previously served as Music Director of the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra and General Music Director of Hannover, Germany.
