Classics 6 | Daniel Hege, Guest Conductor

at Civic Center Music Hall

Pianist Haochen Zhang and guest conductor Daniel Hege bring to life Barber’s Overture to the School for Scandal, Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G major and Brahms’ Symphony No. 4 in E minor, Op. 98.

With Maestro Joel Levine stepping down next year, the Oklahoma City Philharmonic is showcasing six possible candidates this season, one of whom is American native Daniel Hege, for the position of new Music Director. He is currently the Music Director of the Wichita Symphony and Principal Guest Conductor of the Binghamton (NY) Philharmonic. He is widely recognized as one of America’s finest conductors, earning critical acclaim for his fresh interpretations of the standard repertoire and for his commitment to creative programming.

Tickets for this event $19-$65 and are available here.
