At the end of each year, downtown Oklahoma City is the setting for a variety of bands and an unforgettable children’s craft and performance area to ring in the new year. The day begins with the festive Finale 5K and ends with a fireworks extravaganza at midnight!

Wristbands Wristbands are required for Opening Night activities and can be purchased at 7-Eleven stores or online, $8 in advance or $10 at the event. Price includes party favors and access to nine different indoor and outdoor stages at Bicentennial Park, Civic Center Music Hall, City Hall, Ronald J. Norick Downtown Library and the Oklahoma City Museum of Art. Children under 5 are free.

Check out the Children’s Area in Civic Center Music Hall’s Hall of Mirrors for family-friendly fun! Enjoy face painting, an interactive art project and lively music performances. Plus, adults 21+ can warm up with wine, beer or champagne at New Year’s Cheers, a heated tent facing the Finale Stage.

Throughout the evening, catch live performances by Joe Coover, OKC Improv, Chanda Graham, Don’t Tell Dena, Lucas Ross, Mike Hosty and CliffDiver. Oklahoma Top 40 Band SquadLive will headline the Opening Night Finale Stage in Bicentennial Park, playing from 9 p.m. until the countdown to midnight.
