At the end of each year, downtown Oklahoma City is the setting for a variety of bands and an unforgettable children’s craft and performance area. The day beings with the festive Finale 5K and ends with a fireworks extravaganza at midnight!
Wristbands are required for Opening Night activities and can be purchased at MidFirst Bank locations, 7-Eleven stores, the Oklahoma City Museum of Art and Plenty Mercantile beginning December 1. On the night of the event, you can also purchase wristbands at sales locations across the downtown area. Wristbands are $8 in advance and $10 on December 31.
Check out the Children’s Area in Civic Center Music Hall’s Hall of Mirrors for family-friendly fun! Enjoy face painting, an interactive art project and lively music performances.
Downtown OKC has rounded up some of the city’s best food trucks to keep you fueled with snacks and drinks on New Year’s Eve! The following delicious options will be available until midnight:
Throughout the evening, catch live performances by OKC Improv, Adam and Kizzie, Edgar Cruz, Steelwind Duo, Brisa Sur, The House Session, Bricktown Clowns and Michael King’s One Man Circus.
Award-winning local power rock band The Wise Guys will headline the Opening Night Finale State in Bicentennial Park, playing from 9 PM until midnight. The Wise Guys will count the crowd down to midnight as a fireworks extravaganza rings in 2018!
