OKC Arts Council's Opening Night

at Downtown Oklahoma City

Ring in the new year in style with OKC Arts Council's Opening Night! The day begins with a festive 5K, and the evening will conclude with a fireworks extravaganza at midnight.

The Civic Center Music Hall's Hall of Mirrors plays host to the Children's Area, where kids can enjoy face painting, an interactive art project, a giant game area and lively music performances. Then, head over to Finale Alley for some of the city's best food trucks.

It all culminates with the fireworks finale at midnight! Funky upbeat dance band Shortt Dogg takes the stage at Bicentennial Park at 9 pm.

Wristbands are required for entry to Opening Night. Wristbands available at 7-Eleven stores, metro Homeland Stores, MidFirst Bank locations, and Science Museum Oklahoma, or, on the night of the event, you can purchase wristbands at sales locations across the event. The cost is $8 in advance or $10 the night of the event.
