The Civic Center Music Hall’s Hall of Mirrors plays host to the Children’s Area, where kids can enjoy face painting, an interactive art project, a giant game area and lively music performances. Then, head over to Finale Alley for some of the city’s best food trucks.
It all culminates with the fireworks finale at midnight! New Orleans-style band David Bruster and The Walkabouts will take the state at Bicentennial Park at 9 p.m. Other performers throughout the day/night include Jabee, L.T.Z., Moetowne Alex and the Nightview Band, Orquesta d’Calle, OKC Improv, Ali Harter, Michael King, Yung Tray, Susan Herndon, Sativa Prophets, Kinsey Charles and Bricktown Clowns.
Wristbands are required for entry to Opening Night. Wristbands are available at 7-Eleven stores, MidFirst Bank locations and the Oklahoma City Museum of Art beginning December 1. Wristbands are $8 in advance and $10 the night of the event.
