A star duo comprised of mezzo-soprano Elīna Garanča and tenor Roberto Alagna reunite at The Goddard Center for the sensual French opera set in 1150 B.C. Palestine, Saint-Saëns’s biblical epic, Samson et Dalila. Tony Award winner Darko Tresnjak makes his Metropolitan Opera debut as director with Sir Mark Elder conducting.
The opera begins at 11:55 a.m. with a light meal provided one hour beforehand. Tickets are available in-person at the Box Office only and may not be purchased in advance.
