Cool off with the kids this summer by catching some awesome animated films! The Children’s Summer Movie Series at the McSwain Theatre has showings every Tuesday and Wednesday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. in June and July (excluding holidays).

Admission is $1 or take advantage of the combo deal and get a ticket, popcorn and drink for just $5. All films are rated G or PG. The theatre will offer food and drink refreshments during each screening.

June 5 & 6: The LEGO Batman Movie
Bruce Wayne poses as his alter ego, Batman, to take on the evil forces that attack Gotham City … in LEGO® form! 10 a.m. & 2 p.m.

June 12 & 13: Zootopia
A rookie bunny police officer and a swindler fox must work together to uncover a plot to disrupt the city. 10 a.m. & 2 p.m.

June 19 & 20: The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature
Surly the squirrel and his pals must prevent their homes from being destroyed by a construction crew. 10 a.m. & 2 p.m.

June 26 & 27: 101 Dalmations
When a newborn litter of puppies is stolen by the evil Cruella, the two Dalmatian parents must rescue them. 10 a.m. & 2 p.m.

July 3 & 5: Paddington 2
Paddington the Bear’s birthday gift for his Aunt Lucy is stolen and a wild adventure ensues as he chases the thief. 10 a.m. & 2 p.m.

July 10 & 11: Tangled
Trapped in a tower since she was a baby, Rapunzel is saved by a runaway thief who shows her the world for the first time. 10 a.m. & 2 p.m.

July 17 & 18: Coco
A young musician accidentally stumbles into the Land of the Dead to find his great-great-grandfather, who was a legendary singer. 10 a.m. & 2 p.m.

July 24 & 25: Moana
An ocean-loving, adventurous girl sets out to find a demigod who can restore the heart of the Mother Island. 10 a.m. & 2 p.m.

July 31: The Little Mermaid
A mermaid princess makes a deal with an evil enchantress to meet a human prince in exchange for her voice. 10 a.m. & 2 p.m.
