Located just north of downtown Oklahoma City, Midtown is home to a diverse collection of restaurants, residences, businesses and more. It’s one of the coolest places in the city to live, work and play, with new offerings popping up often.
Enjoy a farm-to-table bite at Ludivine, an updated take on classic favorites at Stella Modern Italian Cuisine, creative fare at 1492 New World Latin Cuisine or gourmet breakfast at Waffle Champion. Grab a cup of joe at Elemental Coffee, a local brew at McNellie’s or a nightcap at The Ambassador Hotel’s O Bar. Shop for gorgeous stationary at Chirps and Cheers, trendy clothes and home goods at The Black Scintilla or something more masculine at TRADE Men’s Wears. Explore local history and culture at Oklahoma Hall of Fame at Gaylord-Pickens Museum.
For late-night fun, grab a vintage cocktail at R&J Lounge and Supper Club, or head across the street to Dust Bowl Lanes & Lounge where you can bowl in 70s style with gourmet tater tots and a drink in hand. When you’re done, head upstairs to Fassler Hall for beer, schnitzel and great views of the city.
Bleu Garten is a favorite summer hang-out — rotating food trucks, an open air bar, TVs, live music and corn hole galore make this park a popular spot for all ages. And in the winter, be sure to visit the Holiday Pop-Up Shops, where 35 Oklahoma-owned shops rotate each week between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
The district also hosts Midweek in Midtown, where a select group of businesses offer fun giveaways and promotions every Wednesday. For more information, click here.
