PaddleFest is an exciting dragon boat event held in 2016 during the SandRidge Energy Stars & Stripes River Festival on June 25. Groups of 10 or 20 can sign up to race local and regional teams in this unique event in Oklahoma City. Bring your group of friends, family, or coworkers together for some fun on the water! No experience necessary; all equipment, steerers and a practice session are included.

Teams are separated into race categories based on skill level and age. Experienced races are comprised of visiting teams and OKC RIVERSPORT Dragon Boat League teams. Teams with less experience compete in Novice races. Finally, teams with a majority of members under 18 compete in Youth races. All 20-person boats must have a minimum of 8 female paddlers and all 10-person boats must have a minimum of 4 female paddlers.
