Experience what artist Tomás Saraceno calls “a utopian city in the sky,” previously shown on New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art rooftop (pictured above) and at the Green Box Arts Festival in Colorado.

“Cloud City” stands 28 feet tall, reflecting and reimagining the Oklahoma City skyline. Made of steel and acrylic, the structure is both transparent and reflective; sit inside, and grass may appear overhead while the sky is reflected beneath your feet. Each of the installation’s 16 connected modules draw shapes from natural forms like bubbles, clouds and bacteria.

As Saraceno explains it, “When it is reassembled in a different place, the sky and the environment will be different. It will change completely.”

“Cloud City” walk-ups will be admitted as space and time allow. Interior visitors must follow specific safety guidelines and will required to sign a waiver to enter. All visitors can enjoy the structure from ground level 24 hours a day.

The Campbell Art Park is located next to the OCAC Showroom at 1146 N. Broadway Dr. in Oklahoma City.
