Melvin Edwards Solo Exhibition
Edwards emerged onto the contemporary art scene in Los Angeles in the 1960s and became well-known for his “Lynch Fragments” series, begun in 1963 and continuing through today. The series incorporates objects like chains, tools and steel scraps that are then welded into compact, evocative forms.
