Day of the Dead Festival

The fifth annual Day of the Dead Festival kicks off in Oklahoma City’s Plaza District, Sunday, October 28 from 1-7 p.m. Come celebrate the traditional Mexican holiday that commemorates lost loved ones and guides them on their spiritual journey.

A crowd favorite, the Day of the Dead procession, is scheduled for 4:15 p.m. with a host of fun activities to follow. Enjoy the live mariachi band, Día de Los Muertos-influenced artisans, skull face painting, traditional dance performers, Low-Rider Car Show and special ofrendas (ritual offerings).

Día de Los Muertos will be celebrated nationally from Wednesday, October 31, until Friday, November 2.
