The 2015 American Quarter Horse and Mixed Breed Season begins at Remington Park on Friday, March 6. The Opening Weekend will feature a variety of trials activities, as well as the first stakes race of the season.

Races on March 6 feature trials races for the Grade 1, $125,000 Oklahoma Paint & Appaloosa Futurity and the Grade 1, $30,000 Speedhorse Graham Paint & Appaloosa Derby. March 7 racing features an entire card of trials for the historic Grade 2, $350,000 (estimated) Oklahoma Futurity. The qualifiers from the trials will compete in the 74th Oklahoma Futurity later in the month, on March 21.

Sunday afternoon racing features more trials as the field for the $200,000 (estimated) Oklahoma Derby is established. The initial stakes races of the season also take place on the opening Sunday with the Grade 2, $50,000 Eastex and the $70,000 Mighty Deck Three.
