Floating the river is a favorite Oklahoma pastime for a reason! River Bottom Campground and Tubing in Davis makes it easy and is located just south of the iconic Smokin’ Joe’s Rib Ranch.

Prepare for your cares to float away with a four-mile trip down the Washita River. Meet at the River Bottom Campground and you’ll be transported to the source of the float, where tubes and life jackets are waiting. Tubers are free to meander down the river at their own pace.

Tubes are $20 per person (must be age 12 or older) and tubes for ice chests are $5 each. Floating begins daily at 10 a.m., and the last group will be launched at 2 p.m.; calling ahead for an appointment is highly recommended. You’re welcome to bring food and drinks (no glass bottles or containers), and it’s recommended that you bring sunscreen, bottled water, hats, boat shoes, sunglasses and anything else to keep you safe in the sun.

Extend your stay at the River Bottom Campground! Day passes are just $5 per 24 hours per person and include primitive camping, grills, picnic tables and clean-up areas. Fishing passes are also just $5 per person.
