Join the Boathouse District for the grand opening of RIVERSPORT Rapids, a world-class whitewater rafting and kayaking facility in the heart of the city! The festival is free, and parking is $10. Be sure to get your All Access Pass to go rafting and play all day at RIVERSPORT Adventures. Day passes are $49, or score an annual pass for only $179 for unlimited fun all year.

RIVERSPORT RAPIDS GRAND OPENING RECEPTION

Celebrate the RIVERSPORT Rapids Grand Opening in a spectacular way! Get in the Rio spirit with live samba dancers, Brazil’s national cocktail – the caipirinha –delicious hors d’oeuvres and much more. The RIVERSPORT Rapids Grand Opening Reception will feature canoe/kayak slalom and Team OKC athletes from the OKC National High Performance Center. Tickets are $75 per person or $125 per couple, with all proceeds benefitting the OKC National High Performance Center.

TEAM USA ROAD TO RIO TOUR

Oklahoma City is one of only six stops for the 2016 Road to Rio Tour presented by Liberty Mutual Insurance. Bringing the spirit of the Olympic and Paralympic Games to Team USA fans, the tour gives the public a chance to try sports live and via virtual reality, meet athletes and maybe even score a Team USA giveaway! The 2016 Road to Rio tour is free and will be open Saturday 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM and Sunday 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

You’ll find an array of salads, sandwiches and burgers complemented by your favorite wine and beer. Oklahoma City’s best food trucks will also be on site in the Boathouse District offering all your classic favorites.

And the beer & wine garden concept just got elevated in OKC! Enjoy a cold one as you watch whitewater rafting and kayaking from the RIVERSPORT Rapids island, which offers a great view of the downtown skyline.
