After starting his signature style with The Doobie Brothers in 1977, McDonald went on to pursue a solo career in 1982. His sound attracted fans around the world to songs like “I Keep Forgettin’ (Every Time You’re Near),” “Show You the Way” and “On My Own.” McDonald has worked with notables in the music industry including Ray Charles, Elton John Kenny Loggins, Boz Scaggs and Vince Gill.
