“Hidden Spaces: The Artwork of Jason Cytaki and Haley Prestifilippo,” is one of those exhibits you just have to see to experience. It’s part of Science Museum Oklahoma’s new SmART Space galleries, which explore the intersection between art and science.

Jason Cytaki’s large-scale oil paintings and dioramas call to mind the secret lairs and hidden places often found in childhood stories of adventure. In these works, laboratories, bizarre machines and winding paths characterize fantastical avenues of exploration.

Haley Prestifilippo’s work, on the other hand, features small, surreal graphite drawings on paper depicting a menagerie of animals bound together by natural forces such as rock, vegetation and clouds.

Admission to SmART Space is included with general admission at Science Museum Oklahoma.
