Known as the “Horse Show Capital of the World,” State Fair Park annually hosts more national and international equine events than any place in the world. These include the Grand National & World Championship Morgan Horse Show, the USTRC National Finals of Team Roping, the American Quarter Horse Association World Championship Show, the National Reining Horse Association Futurity, the World Championship Barrel Racing Futurity, the American Quarter Horse Youth Association World Championship Show and the National Reining Horse Association Derby, just to name a few.

State Fair Park also features such events as the Metropolitan Auto Dealers Association International Auto Show, the Oklahoma City Boat Show, the International Finals Rodeo, the Southwest Street Rod National, An Affair of the Heart Arts & Crafts Show and the India Shrine Circus, as well as the Oklahoma Secondary School Association Basketball Championships.

And of course, each September brings the Oklahoma State Fair, where miles of smiles meets one of the state’s biggest events of the entire year. Here’s the place to enjoy your favorite rides and games, to daringly chow down on a near endless supply of fried food, to see a top concert, pet a goat or experience a show come to life on ice. Last year brought big thrills, but we can’t we to see what next year has in store.
