The annual Artesian Arts Festival returns to the plaza at the Artesian Hotel, Casino & Spa on Memorial Day weekend! This interactive community celebration highlights more than 100 artists from a variety of southeastern Native American tribes and has become one of the nation’s fastest-growing Native American arts markets.
Free and open to the public on Saturday, May 25, the Artesian Arts Festival offers activities for all ages, including a children’s tent for make-and-take items, a youth arts display and a senior arts and crafts booth. A diverse array of art media including paintings, basketry, jewelry, sculpture, metalwork, beadwork, textiles and pottery will be on display.
There will also be live entertainment, ranging from traditional native flute performances to Red Dirt country music, as well as food vendors offering an array of tasty treats. A shuttle service will be available to transport patrons to and from the Chickasaw Cultural Center.
This destination is open. Normal operating hours may be affected and some COVID-19 related restrictions may still apply. Be sure to call ahead for the most up-to-date information.
