Unguarded and vulnerable, Kurt Vile’s sound includes an expansive range of instrumentation from banjo and piano to farfisa, resonator, horns and synths. The Philadelphia native and The Violators fill The Jones Assembly with alt-rock sounds from albums Childish Prodigy, b’lieve i’m goin down, and the latest Bottle It In.

Kurt Vile and the Violators are joined on stage with freak folk singer-songwriter Jessica Pratt for a feel-good acoustic experience Wednesday, Dec. 5, at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets to the show are $26 in advance and $31 on the day of the show.
