Neo-country music group Midland will play WinStar World Casino’s Global Event Center on Friday, Jan. 18 at 8:00 p.m. Described by Rolling Stone as “country music that recalls a mix of George Strait, Urban Cowboy and Seventies yacht rock,” this relatively new band delights with their throwback country sound. They’ve garnered national attention and won the Best New Vocal Group of the Year award at the 2018 ACM Awards. Hits from their first album On the Rocks include “Burn Out,” “Drinkin’ Problem” and “Make a Little,” all which topped of the Billboard country charts.
