On February 4 at 9 a.m., join park rangers at the Chickasaw National Recreational Area for a fascinating presentation about the bald eagle and afterward, travel to the Lake of the Arbuckles and catch a glimpse of one! Approximately 2,000 eagles journey to Oklahoma each migrating season and the Lake of the Arbuckles is one of the most common roosting areas. Guests who bring binoculars will be able to take full advantage of eagle “hot spot” locations, which will showcase all that these majestic creatures have to offer. Additional activities will be hosted at the Chickasaw Cultural Center in the afternoon. Don’t miss it!
