From Thursday, Sept. 13 to Sunday, Sept. 23, the Oklahoma State Fair will dazzle your family with live shows, exciting rides, delicious fair food, competitions, showcases and other special events.

The State Fair’s Chickasaw Country Entertainment Stage will bring together some of the best acts in rock and country music. These are always free with outside gate admission!

One of the most popular events of the entire fair, Disney on Ice, returns and presents Dare to Dream! From Sept. 13-18, follow your heart straight to adventure with characters from “Moana,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Frozen,” “Cinderella” and more. There is also a variety of shows across the State Fairgrounds, from martial arts and magic shows to pig races, karaoke contests and even an Italian family circus.

PRCA Xtreme Bulls Tour also returns to Jim Norick Arena on Sept. 21-22. Delivering action-packed bull riding followed by a high-energy country music concert, the PRCA Xtreme Bulls Tour during the Oklahoma State Fair is one incredible show! Catch Big & Rich on Friday night and Aaron Watson on Saturday night.

And, of course, there are plenty of rides for thrill seekers of all ages! From the famous Ferris Wheel to the heart-pounding Mega Drop, the Midway is filled with sights and sounds you can only experience at the State Fair. When you purchase an Advance Carnival Ride Armband, you will receive a ticket that serves as your armband redemption voucher (one day only). Other options include the Family Fun Pack and Gold Access.

Additional Fair highlights include:

  • The City of AGtropolis. Situated in the Oklahoma Expo Hall, the City of AGtropolis presents Oklahoma’s rich agricultural industry in a kid-friendly environment by creating a mock city with a series of places found in most Oklahoma towns.
  • Oklahoma Frontier Experience. This interactive discovery show allows you to step back in time to the Wild West through shows, demonstrations and activities designed to give both city slickers and country folk an experience they will never forget.
  • Barnyard Birthing Center. This special area allows fairgoers the opportunity to learn about animal husbandry, including the birthing process, as well as veterinary science and responsible pet ownership.
  • Hands-on Spot. Three zones make up the State Fair’s newest attraction, where fairgoers will find themselves physically, mentally and creatively challenged in this interactive area.
  • JFK Exhibition. This is the largest traveling JFK Exhibition. It displays hundreds of authentic items from his life and presidency, including one of his presidential limousines, and last White House event invitations and programs dated November 20, 1963.
  • The Patio.This wine and beer garden is nestled under shade trees and provides a serene atmosphere with generous seating, great wine and beer and live entertainment.
  • Special Exhibits. State Fair special exhibits include an auto show, petting zoo, pony ride, art exhibits and more.

Purchase outside gate admission tickets before Sept. 12 and pay $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 6-11. After Sept. 12, prices are $12 for adults and $6 for children 6-11. Children 5 and under are always free.
